What is it about: It is a Bible storybook with an interactive spin.
Like: I like that this is different from the usual books.
Dislike: Nothing really. It’s fun!
Recommend: I recommend this to everyone.
Check out our videos of the augmented reality in action:
The characters spring to life and if you click the characters will speak in the app.
The stories are actually stories in the Bible and the verses are made into stories and I like them.
I like the story where Jesus was at the temple without his mom and dad and was asking questions.
A NOTE FROM EMILY’S MOM
We got to test out some augmented reality stuff at the Tech Museum last year so it was fun to try it again! I’m pretty minimal when it comes to phone apps. This may surprise many people since I do social media work. The first question my kiddos’ friends ask is usually, “What games do you have on your phone?” They are disappointed by this reply. We actually ended up installing the app onto our old iPad and I think we are still exploring the 304 pages! Many of the characters on the pages say something so this may take us a bit longer than expected. :p It’s neat to take a look at some of the Bible stories in this way. It brings us to some out-of-the-box thinking since it’s just different from the usual pictures and words.
