“I can’t do this alone.” This is probably something all parents have thought or said at one or multiple times in the parenting journey. There are no handbooks, and even if there are, every single kiddo is different and what worked for one doesn’t always work for another. I love that this new movie coming out addresses real life in this way.

The movie begins with Charlie and Alice starting out their parenting journey. They realize they will be responsible for a tiny human who will depend on them. As their children grow, we are able to get a glimpse of how they grow through the challenges of discipline, rebellion, dating, substance abuse, but also celebrations and a legacy of a life faithful to loving God.
It is a beautiful message of how an arrow has to be pulled back, sometimes bending before it is released. And so our children are like arrows to be sent off to their own targets one day.
