*The Edge of Everywhen
Melody (age 13): This book is about a book – a special magical book, in fact! It can speak to the main characters, Piper and Phoenix, and tell them their life stories. The oddest part is that the story changes as it gets passed from person to person. Will Piper discover who she truly is? And will Piper and Phoenix find their dad, who went missing?
I liked that the lady who was in chains helped their dad when she was risking her own life and her safety to do it.
In case you are wondering what everywhen means it’s like everywhere or everybody or everything, just everywhen. Just in the sense that God is everywhere, omnipresent, he can also be with us always – past, present, and future. That’s what this book is about.
The Edge of Everywhen gives kids a more insightful, spiritual look at who God meant for us to be.
Emily (age 11): I love it! It shows that God can really talk to you, even through books! And that He can help, find, bring, etc. to everybody, in times of despair, and through your favorite things, like books (it is my favorite also) and can do big things. If there is a sequel, then I will definitely read it. It’s awesome!
Piper and Phoenix love reading, and I hope you, the reader, will love it too and read this book!

About the Author
Allison Mackey’s debut book was a Steno pad full of poems, given to her parents as a gift when she was eight. She wrote her first sci-fi novel at age fifteen (it was horrid), but she still went on to solidify her love for creative writing with a degree in English literature from the University of Georgia. A member of the Shoals Writers Guild and the mother of three adult children, Allison lives in Florence, Alabama, where she and her husband are church planters and worship leaders.
