Outdoor Summer Fun

Summer break may be here already for some families. We were chatting with friends about things to do and places to go! Our post on summer reading programs (and more) will be coming soon, but here are some outdoorsy things to do when the UV Index shows safe numbers.

Some are local-to-us but if you do a search in your own community, you may find fun activities and events to participate in too! Click link to site to read details. We’ll update as we find more fun. 🙂

If you’re looking for some more outdoor adventure beyond what the Moys usually do, our friend’s brother, Matt Johanson, wrote a book called *Sierra Summits: A Guide to Fifty Peak Experiences in California’s Range of Light. It promises to be “perfect for busy families or weekend warriors and is sure to take your hiking higher.” Get it here –> *amzn.to/2YwPe75
