What is it about: After the youth are transported to a different location, they realize the mission was to fight a battle. They get battle-ready through lots of training. Scenes of fortress explosions and Lava Forager monsters appear through the story. They must continue until the battle is won. There is no turning back until the mission is accomplished.
Like: I liked that the story was told from different points of view. Many out-of-the ordinary events occur that made the story adventurous. I liked that the chapters are short. It made reading 300+ pages a little easier.
Dislike: I disliked that I didn’t read the first 3 books. There were a lot of characters.
Recommend: I would recommend it to older kids in middle school because it can be confusing to younger kids and there are scary scenes.
