THOUGHTS FROM EMILY (age 9)

Can You Believe It? is Hillsong Kids’ latest DVD. It includes a part called “Live in the Studio.” It shows a video about what it’s like in the studio when they were filming. In-between the music videos, there are two people, Funny Man Dan and the director, who play games and they have visitors they interview about Hillsong Kids.

I like the music videos the best because they showed kids. They like to help their neighbors. My favorite song it the first one on the DVD. It’s called “I Give You My Hallelujah.” It’s definitely for kids.

The lyrics video that is my favorite is Oceans (Where Feet May Fail). I like the background because there was a spinning animation. It is also a slow, sweet song. There were lots of other fun backgrounds too.

I recommend this for people ages 5-12. This is the kind of DVD where there are slow songs and fast rockin’ songs where kids can jump up and dance.

 

A NOTE FROM MELODY + EMILY’S MOM

When we visited Hillsong during our Australia trip, it was great to see that everyone there was ready to point others to the Truth. And this is exactly what this DVD is centered on. There are some classic songs that I heard in my youth group years and some new songs that my kiddos are hearing now. This DVD is a fun and biblical way to teach children about the love and grace that God has for each of us.
