While you could read one each week, you can also take a look at the index for whatever hard moments you are facing and there will be a small reminder of what God has promised. The topics and emotions covered range from anxiety to pressure, from weakness to change, and from grief to rejection. We are not alone in these things. I love how each section has a short prayer. *Promises from God is a perfect gift for someone you know who needs a little biblical encouragement in their life.

What is it about: It is about different feelings and different times in your life and how you can move forward.
Like: I liked the examples on the side and the verses. I also liked the quotes and the art.
Recommend: I would recommend this to everybody. Life is hard sometimes but we can get through it. The author gives us Scripture to remind us of God’s provision and promises.

There is also a companion journal so you can write down how God is working in your life through some of the situations that may make life a bit more challenging for you. You are loved and you are brave. I’m thankful for these reminders from Holley’s book.
